Here's a sketch I did just tonight after reading a journal by encouraging new artists to cut loose and forget about what your art looks like - just enjoy the process. Since Sonora's so good at cutting loose, I figured she'd be a perfect subject for this exercise. I realize there's a lot of her in my gallery lately, but she's a lot of fun. If I can get over my "art anxiety" or whatever you call it, I might take a crack at a couple of my HUMAN characters...or sketch a landscape, maybe. Haven't done that in awhile.
Yup, I like this'un a lot. So much I might color it later. Too bad it's on notebook paper, really. Other than that, the only thing I can see wrong with it is the body proportions - either the head's too small or the legs are too long, I can't really tell which....but it matters not. This was a really satisfying and fun exercise.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
